Karolína Muchová is currently ranked 23rd in the WTA rankings, making her the fourth highest ranked player from the Czech Republic. The Olomouc native’s career high is, however, 19th.

She is in a relatively good mood at the tournament in Cincinnati, where she is competing for the first time. She defeated Johanna Konta in the opening set, and then she took on the seventh seed Bianca Andreescu.

Belinda Bencic is a 24-year-old tennis player who represents Switzerland. She is ranked eleventh in the WTA rankings. Her greatest career success came recently when she won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

She is also in great form in the WTA 1000 category. In the first round, she took on Marketa Vondrousova without any major problems. Shelby Rogers, whom she also defeated in two sets, did not send her home.

This will be the first ever meeting of these rivals, but we can expect a very even contest. Both players are in a good playing condition and we could see three sets.

So what to bet on? According to the bookmakers, Muchova is a slight favourite, despite the fact that Bencic has won her last eight matches. Moreover, in case of a bigger success, she could return to the elite ten, so her motivation is noticeable.
