Karma? Piqué has a lot to look forward to. His ex-girlfriend Shakira will apparently grace the Barcelona jersey
It took eleven years. Gerard Piqué, the Barcelona star and former Spanish national team player, broke up with the popular singer Shakira. He fell in love elsewhere. But now he may be facing a rather curious predicament.

Well, this is going to be interesting. Gerard Piqué may no longer be dating the famous singer Shakira, but he may still have to play for his beloved Barcelona with her name on his jersey.
The reason for this is the sponsorship from the Spotify platform. Already in El Clásico, the Catalan team has played in jerseys with the OVO owl logo, the clothing brand of the popular Canadian rapper Drake. The latter received this honour thanks to being the first to reach 50 billion listens.
For a change, Shakira will soon release a new single, it will be called Monotomia and will feature a guest appearance by Puerto Rican singer Ozuna. The Colombian native is expected to reflect on her break-up with Pique, among other things, in the song.
Journalist Moises Llorense, who lives in Barcelona, came up with the claim that Shakira will be the next star to get on the jerseys of the local football club just because of her single.
While there are no official statements yet, the news has already been picked up by a number of Spanish and South American media outlets.
Piqué has often faced various provocations because of his breakup with Shakira. For example, before the match at Mallorca, during the warm-up, the famous singer’s hits were played on the loudspeakers.
The Barcelona legend is currently dating the 23-year-old model Clara Chia Marti.
