Karlos Vémola wants to fight for the welterweight title at the July tournament in Štvanice. The problem is that he has no opponent. But now one has signed up and the organization posted the video on its social media.
Karlos Vémola had a one-year break, but after that he is not saving himself. First he beat Otakar Petrina in boxing and then Michal Pasternak in Germany. So he has won 5 fights in MMA since his loss to Attila.
The organization was supposed to promise him a title fight in the welterweight division, which Terminator is counting on, but it is still unknown who he will fight.
It won’t be Rafael Xavier, but there is now a new interested party. Aleksandar Ilic, known as the Joker. He posted a video on his Instagram where he challenges Carlos.
“I spoke to my manager and he told me that OKTAGON, which is a very fast growing organization in Europe, has an opening in the welterweight title fight. I was in preparation for the PFL season but now I would like to fight for this title.
I saw a video of Karlos Vemola who also wants to fight for the title and doesn’t care who it’s with. I’ll be happy to fight you. I think you are a very good wrestler and a big star of OKTAGON organization. I think stylistically it’s a very good fight and inside the Octagon we can put on a great show.
And don’t forget – I have seven first round knockouts to my credit. Vémolo, you’ll be my number eight! Please, OKTAGON, organize this fight on July 23rd in Prague. Joker is here, sign the contract, see you soon!” he said.
The organization also shared his appeal on their social media, which supports that they would like the fight to happen. So, will we see them together at Štvanici?
