Champions League
Joy at Sparta! Check out the victory shout. It was euphoric, but perhaps a little beyond reason
Do you approve of Sparta celebrating so boldly or should words be a bit more judgmental? Of course, the positive emotions played a role in this moment, but beware of the well-known Czech saying pride precedes a fall.
There is a deserved celebration at Letná and it is a question of how today’s training will work out, which was joked about by coach Pavel Vrba himself. What was the celebration like behind the scenes in the booth? Sheer euphoria, but fans of other Czech clubs may perceive it as a slight lack of judgement, although Sparta certainly have ambitions!
The 2-0 win over Austrian Rapid Vienna shot Sparta over 90 million CZK (promotion to the EL) and also qualification to the 3rd round of the Champions League.
The appetite grows with the food and now the summer team will try to surprise the favoured Monaco. There is still much more in the game!
Pavel Vrba said. It’s a relief that we will play the EL, but you can’t compare the competitions. We have at least six great, confrontational games coming up.”
After the game, there were celebrations right in the stadium with the fans, but also in the booth afterwards.
” Euphoria after the Sparta promotion? I hope it won’t be like in Plzeň, where we were looking for some players the next day. Hopefully we will find each other tomorrow with all the players at training.”
