Joshua Kimmich is leading by example! Agents don’t always want your best, that’s why I don’t have one, says Bayern star

Recently Joshua Kimmich signed a new contract with Bayern Munich. It is worth mentioning that the German star was not represented by any agent during the negotiations with the club. Why?
Joshua Kimmich is on his way to making an indelible mark in Bayern Munich’s history as one of the greatest legends. He regularly confirms his qualities, but he also sets an example in and out of the locker room.
Moreover, he recently signed a new contract with the Bavarian giant. It must be said, however, that he negotiated the contract with the club himself. He hasn’t had an agent for a while now. At the time he parted ways with him, he said he wanted to stand by his values and take responsibility for himself.
Now, in an interview with ZDF Sportstudio, he explained the whole thing a little more specifically: ‘I didn’t have a good feeling at all when the previous contract extension was discussed. Because I didn’t sit in on all the talks with the club.”
“Agents are not always concerned about your well-being. Players are often easily taken in by them. For me, it’s important to be present at the talks and to know what is being discussed. Because that was the case now, I could extend my contract with a good feeling,” Kimmich added.
Of course, the Bayern star understands that it’s not for everyone. However, he would advise everyone to at least attend talks with the club every time.
Kimmich, however, sets a great example. Because instead of a lot of money going into the pockets of often greedy agents, the same money stays in football circulation and is definitely put to productive and effective use.
