Exclusive documentary Jiri Procházka:: A Fighter’s Journey
Jiri Procházka is already one of the most successful Czech MMA fighters in history. At the beginning of June, he will face Glover Teixeira for the welterweight title of the biggest MMA organization in the world, the UFC.
Fans of the 29-year-old fighter will be able to shorten the wait for the title fight by watching an exclusive documentary about the spectacular journey of the Moravian boy from Hostěradice to a fighter whose name is being heard in martial arts around the world.
Mastery is a truth to die for!
Jiří Procházka is a very inspiring and emotional man who had to deal with the death of his father at an early age. It was martial arts that led him to the path of inner peace and achieving mastery.
“Fighting is for me both a source of conveying a message and an endless love that I put into it,” says Jiří Procházka in the trailer for the documentary. “What drives me all the time is the highest possible path of mastery, that is the truth I am able to die for,” he adds in a frank and open confession.
The director of the documentary, Petr Hrubec, reviews the authentic story of Procházka
“Jiří is literally a phenomenon among athletes, a self-made man who has forged his own path,” says the director of the documentary Petr Hrubec according to TN. “He is educated, sensitive, warm-hearted and fully perceives life. His devotion to fighting and the energy that radiates from him is literally mesmerizing,” Hrubec evaluates the fighter, saying that Jirka breaks all stereotypes about wrestlers.
“During the filming Jirka completely opened up and shared himself with us in the most raw form, for which I thank him,” the director appreciates the openness of the Moravian fighter. “The audience can look forward not only to a story describing his riveting journey from a small Moravian town to the famous UFC stages, but also an authentic portrait of Jirka Procházka as a person,” he adds.
The unique documentary, which was filmed in Brno and his hometown Hostěradice, can be viewed by Voyo subscribers from May 4. The premiere of the film will take place one day earlier, on 3 May in Prague’s Světozor cinema.
