Jiri Prochazka predicts the title fight Pereira vs Hill. With humility he revealed his ambitions
The numbered UFC 298 gala took place over the weekend and it was a lot to watch. Anaheim was entertained, as were the spectators who weren’t lucky enough to be in the stadium. Immediately following the event, the main event of UFC 300 was announced. Jiri Prochazka will also show up for the anniversary event and reacts to the biggest draw of the night.

That Jiri Prochazka will have the honor of showing up at the UFC 300 anniversary gala has been known for some time. Likewise, we’ve known for some time that he’ll be taking on the grizzled and longtime rival Aleksandar Rakic.
If BJP were to win, it would quite possibly earn him a shot at the welterweight title again. Who would it be against? That remains to be seen, but what is certain is that it will be decided on the same night that the Moravian fights Rakic.
That’s because immediately after the UFC 298 gala over the weekend, organization boss Dana White announced that Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill would face off in the main event of the anniversary event. The Brazilian’s last fight was with the Moravian samurai, the latter returning from a serious injury.
Jiří Procházka will probably not have to wait too long for the name of his potential next opponent in case of victory over Rakic.
Jiri Prochazka reacts to the Pereira vs Hill fight
The Moravian Samurai couldn’t give a 100% performance in his fight with Alex Pereira. His preparation was greatly disturbed by injuries. It was all the more impressive how he did in the battle. With the exception of one mistake, for which the Brazilian punished him, he was better in the duel.
No wonder he wanted a quick rematch. However, the champion did not agree to it, which Jiri Procházka respects as much as possible. Instead, the welterweight king will face Jamahal Hill, who is finally returning from injury.
“I think Hill will have the bigger assortment of weapons in that fight. Historically, he’ll have more ground than Pereira. Hill can surprise in the standup department. Pereira, on the other hand, can pull it off at any moment. As I always say, may the better man win,” BJP expressed to MMA Shorties.
“Really, let the better man win and win. Not that I’m aiming for that post, but with that championship I’m going to come in there and show it. Now I have something to work on. I’m humbled to say I’m just going for it. Victory!” jiří Procházka added.
