Jiri Prochazka becomes a star of the most famous MMA organization in the world UFC. During his training camp in the USA he met the legendary boxer Mike Tyson.
As you know, Jiri Prochazka flew to the USA as part of his training camp for his UFC title fight in May, where he will face Brazilian champion Glover Teixeira for the welterweight belt. The Czech samurai is of course becoming known by celebrities not only in the MMA scene for his skills.
Procházka met with Mike Tyson
The Czech fighter, who flew to the United States for a three-week camp, is of course first and foremost working on improving his fighting practices. However, he still finds time to relax, which is also very important for clearing the mind. Like he did this weekend, when he shared a post on his Twitter account where he posted a photo with legendary boxer Mike Tyson.
Daniel Cormier on Prochazka
Jirka Procházka actually attended an event where another martial arts legend, former UFC champion Daniel Cormier, took notice of him. “Hey, there goes Jiri,” he pointed out to a passing Czech samurai on Mike Tyson’s podcast.
When the guests in attendance asked who it was, Cormier bowed to our fighter. “That’s the future UFC welterweight champion,” said Cormier, who is currently commentating fights at UFC galas. “He’s an absolute killer, he’s the scariest fighter in the whole UFC right now,” the former champion continued his words of praise.
Also impressed with Prochazka was former fighter Brendan Schaub
“I’ll bet anybody here that he wins the title,” chimed in another former UFC fighter , Brendan Schaub. “Glover is class, but you look really fit,” Schaub praised the Moravian fighter’s form. Procházka then sat down with Mike Tyson, with whom he said hello and exchanged a few words. Among other things, he asked him if the former scariest man on the planet was still preparing for a fight, whereupon Mike confirmed with a smile that he was already retired from boxing.
Jiri Prochazka is becoming a true celebrity in the world of martial arts, and hopefully the predictions of both former UFC fighters are right and Jiri will conquer the world with a welterweight title shot at the UFC 274 gala in May.
