Jiri Procházka is in Abu Dhabi, where he is ready to jump into the title fight, which includes the pair of Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira. If anyone gets injured or tests positive, it will be the Czech who will fight.
Procházka changed his nickname before the tournament, which until now has been Denisa. Now he uses the familiar BJP brand. What does it stand for? Bombs like p**a. It’s a nod to the Czech wrestler’s strengths. But changing the nickname won’t get rid of the foreign explanation.
“I’ve figured it out so I won’t phrase it any differently than it just is. There’s just one truth, it’s bombs as fuck.I’m not going to elaborate any other way, I’m going to tell the truth, this is how it is, this is what it came from. The important thing is that I have things to say with this.
It’s the idea that it carries, that it started with. And I’ll always have to recite this around it so that I’m not there as a foul-mouthed lout,” he said in an interview with Kaocko.
This is certainly a good marketing move, as the BJP is also called Procházka’s e-shop. Moreover, the nickname Denis was simply not understood abroad.
In Abu Dhabi, however, his launch is very unlikely. Both fighters seem to be healthy, the clear favourite is the reigning Blachowicz, on whom 98% of bettors on Czech portals are betting.
