Jiří Prochazka has a lot of weaknesses? Rival Rakic evaluated the fighting style of his next opponent

Jiří Prochazka already knows the name of his next opponent and has adequate time to prepare for him. Aleksandar Rakic, however, is not going to be left behind. He has already studied his rival well. What does the Austrian native have to say about the BJP?

It was Blachowicz that Rakic was supposed to fight on January 20, but the Pole got injured and the Austrian with Serbian roots immediately challenged the Moravian samurai. Procházka did not hesitate and accepted the offer. There was a long discussion about the date. But finally they agreed on April 13, when the UFC 300 anniversary tournament will take place.

Jiri Prochazka has a lot of flaws in his style?

Aleksandar Rakic was recently a guest on Ariel Helwani’s popular show The MMA Hour. There, he naturally talked about several topics. But the main one was his next fight and therefore his opponent Jiri Prochazka.

“We are both young Europeans with attractive styles. I’m happy to test myself against a former champion. As Conor McGregor says, styles make fights and I want to test my style against his. I see a lot of strengths in him, but also a lot of flaws. I will want to take advantage of them,” Rakic expressed.

“Jiri has been in trouble in every one of his fights in the UFC. I wouldn’t say he has a weak chin, but you can see that he feels his punches differently than I do, for example. However, he surprised me a lot with his takedown against Pereira. He did a very good job there,” he evaluates the Moravian samurai.

“One of his biggest mistakes is that he often gets into trouble. His fights are about him losing and then coming back and being able to turn it around. That’s his strength. I have to give him that. Obviously, I have to be alert the whole fight. I can’t afford to lose focus even for a moment,” Rakic concluded on the subject.

It is definitely worth mentioning that Rakic is a great professional. He will definitely be very well prepared physically, mentally and tactically for the match. Let’s hope that Jiri Procházka can handle the duel.
