Viktor Peshta lost twice, but Martina Jindrova didn’t let anything like that happen. She defeated Vanessa Melo on points in the first match and also won on the night.
In the first round, she stopped Kazakhstan’s Zamzagul Fayzallan on ground and pound. That means only one thing, and that’s six valuable points.
She scored three in her previous match and is certain to make the playoffs. “I’m really happy for the next round in London because before the match a lot of people told me that if I advance they will come to support me.
I’m really looking forward to it. It’s great. I’m happy. I would have likedPacheco as my opponent,” she said after the match. Her wish, however, will not come true.
Thirty-two-year-old Kayla Harrison, who has a 14:0 record in professional MMA, will be her opponent.
Jindrová has a huge challenge ahead of her. The fight is scheduled for August 20, so now she has a vacation and then a hard preparation.
