Jake Paul’s name has been mentioned lately especially in connection with the UFC. The American influencer wants to improve the conditions of fighters in this organization and now he has come up with another idea. What is it and what does Dana White have to say about it?
Jake Paul constantly talks about the UFC organization, which is headed by Dana White, who doesn’t like him much. In fact, Paul is trying to improve the financial conditions of the organization, among other things.
And this is towards the fighters, because according to Paul, the UFC is not doing its best for them. He is not only trying to change the financial evaluation, but also the long-term medical care.
White has long swept all his words off the table, he doesn’t even like his latest proposal. What does Paul want from the UFC?
“The winner of the fight gets a $50,000 bonus. That means $600,000 per tournament (with 12 fights). The UFC produces around 45 galas a year and the total would be around $27 million.
That’s about 9.4% of the UFC’s profits for 2020. If the winner doesn’t deserve the bonus (a boring fight, for example), they’ll spread the $50,000 over another fight that’s on the card. More exciting fights, better pay conditions.”
That would certainly be nice, however, Endevour Ari Emanuel, the organization’s owner, said the fighters are getting adequate pay. So nothing is likely to change anytime soon.
