Manchester United are going through a great period at the moment in terms of results. It seems as if everyone is suitably relieved after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure and everyone is enjoying a calmer environment. That certainly doesn’t include Jadon Sancho, who was dropped from the squad for a while in December.
Sancho’s transfer to Manchester United cost the club £73 million. Since his transfer, he has fallen far short of expectations and has also lost significantly in market value. Specifically, a drop of £34 million.
Before Sancho was dropped from the squad, he managed to play 14 games this season in which he scored three goals.
Where did Sancho train?
There is still huge potential in Sancho that needs to be reignited. The current United coach Erik ten Hag has once again shown a great sense for dealing with a difficult situation and has decided to separate Sancho from his other teammates for some time and set up an individual program for him.
Manchester United footballers were preparing in Spain during the ongoing World Cup while the English footballer was asked by ten Hag not to join the club. He sent him to Holland where he put him in the hands of a coaching staff chosen by him. Here Sancho worked not only on his physical fitness but also on his mental state.
Back in the club
Fabrizio Romano informed the football world today about the fact that Sancho is back in Manchester and is already fully preparing with the rest of the club. It is expected that he will soon be ready to hit the ground running in the upcoming matches
In his words, the entire coaching staff, ten Hag and everyone at the club feel that he is making positive progress.
