I’ve been playing with pain for the last 6 months, but I’m ready to play again, Kroos says

Toni Kroos has been a key figure for Real Madrid in recent years, playing 42 games for the club last season. However, this year has been a very painful one for him as he struggled with groin problems that echoed during matches.

But now things are finally looking good and the return of the German midfielder, who last played a competitive match at the European Championships against England, is imminent.

“I’m happy because I was able to finish my third training session with the team without the pain I’ve had for the last 6 or 7 months, so it’s a really great feeling,” the White Ballet midfielder revealed in an interview with Goal.

The situation has even improved to the point that Kroos could be ready for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Sheriff Tiraspol, who visit Madrid.

However, the decision is up to Carlo Ancelotti. “I’m ready and I think I’ll be part of the team,” believes the 31-year-old technician extraordinaire.
