Tottenham Hotspur footballers managed Saturday’s game against Nottingham Forrest and calmly strolled to victory. However, the mood at the club is not the best, as evidenced by the constant banter between Conte and Richarlison.

Antonio Conte and the whole of Tottenham are not having a successful season again. The London outfit has already dropped out of contention for any trophy it has been waiting for for 15 long years and of course any chance of winning the league title is impossible.

The only motivation will be to fight for a place in the top four and secure participation in the Champions League for the next season.

Tottenham are not much helped by the fact that they simply do not know which direction to take. The future of the Italian coach on the bench is more than tilted and it can be assumed that their paths will diverge in the summer.

Moreover, Conte himself already looks and looks very resigned, as if he is waiting for the end of the season. The public banter between Richarlison and Antonio Conte is not helping the overall mood at the club.

The Brazilian footballer first took a dig at his superior by stating in a post-match interview against AC Milan that he didn’t understand why he was benched. He went on to say that the season has been sh*t.

I saw the interview. He didn’t criticise me. He just said he had a sh*t season, which is true. His season is not good,” Antonio Conte responded later in the interview.

In the game against Nottingham Forrest, the Brazilian striker was in the starting line-up and after just under five minutes he was delighted with the goal. He celebrated by putting his raised index finger in front of his mouth, apparently indicating for Conte to be quiet.

Unfortunately for the Brazilian, the goal was called back due to offside. So for Richarlison, that means his goal account is still at number zero within the Premier League and his time at Tottenham.
