It’s over! Coach Martin Pulpit quit Viktoria Žižkov before he started
The management of Viktorka Žižkov has run out of patience. After only 165 days, it dismissed the current coach Martin Pulpit, who led the Prague club in only nine championship matches.

After twenty-one rounds, the traditional Prague club is still in the last place of the table with only eleven points, and is an abysmal twelve points behind the places guaranteeing its stay in the second highest competition.
This is the reason why coach Martin Pulpit, who took over the Red and Whites only in October last year, is leaving the bench.
In that time he managed to coach nine competitive matches with a dismal record of 0 wins, six defeats and three draws. All three were goalless.
Even with the arrival of twelve new reinforcements, in whom Pulpit had high hopes, the club failed to change the bad situation.
The proverbial last straw was Wednesday’s game against Vlašim, which Viktorka lost 1: 2 and extended its unflattering winless streak to seventeen games.
It is yet to be decided who will lead Žižkov in the next duels, when they will also face Zbrojovka Brno or Dukla Prague.
