Harry Kane, along with the whole Tottenham team, had another bad night, which was very difficult for everyone. Especially Antonio Conte and Richarlison. After the game, the pair of Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher had something to say about the situation surrounding the key striker of the London team, who has recently been linked with an exit.

A number of clubs had previously made a bid for Kane, however, the Tottenham owner certainly had no plans to let him go and the English striker himself believed in his project. Only now it is clear that Spurs will probably never be able to repay that trust.

It must be even clearer and more painful for the 29-year-old striker after the home game against AC Milan, in which Spurs failed to score a goal and thus bid farewell to the Champions League in the first round of the play-offs.

And who knows if the London team will even appear in the Champions League next season, as they currently hold the 4th place in the Premier League, but 3 points behind them are Liverpool, who have an extra match to play, and 4 points behind Newcastle, who have even 2 matches to play.

The fate of the Albion captain was also discussed in the studio after the relegation, where Carragher and Henry were present. Both are of the opinion that it’s now or never for Kane!

They also believe that the author of 201 league goals should leave and try a new challenge. They see one possible destination as a possible option and that is Manchester United, who will definitely be looking for a striker in the starting line-up in the summer.

Thus, this link-up seems to be the best solution for both the former footballing greats as they rightly point out that Kane is very close to becoming the Premier League’s top scorer.

Henry himself ranks 7th, having hit a total of 176 in England’s top league. Kane is currently 3rd, 7 goals behind Wayne Rooney and 59 behind Alan Shearer. That’s certainly an achievable benchmark given the age of the English striker.

Considering he’s been at Tottenham for virtually his entire career, at least the fact that he would be the Premier League’s all-time top scorer must surely be an interesting challenge that Henry thinks he’ll go for.

If Kane carries on as he has done so far in 2-3 seasons he could be proud of that title.
