Italian club interested in Barak, who plays in the Champions League
After two great seasons in Verona, Antonín Barák has drawn enough attention to himself and rightfully asked for a transfer. He scored eleven goals and assisted three more in the Italian league last season. He is now the subject of interest from Italian side Napoli, who are in the Champions League.

Since his transfer, he has been reborn in Verona. Now Barak’s name is being approached by leading Italian clubs who are looking at Cech as a cheap midfield player. The Czech midfielder is under contract at Verona until 2024.
Napoli are most interested in the Czech midfielder, but first they have to sell Spaniard Ruiz or Pole Zielinski, who is being pursued by West Ham. Ruiz’s contract expires next year, so Napoli will still try to monetise him.
According to the Italian media, Napoli offered Verona €14 million plus some bonuses, or almost 350 million crowns. The new contract should be for 3 years.
But keeping Barak in Verona will be very difficult. Like Simeone, Barak now seems determined to make a big transfer in the summer.
If Napoli don’t make a decision in the next few weeks, Barak’s name could be suited to another top club. AC Milan, who were interested in Barak back in January, could also return to the game.
