Bundesliga
It would make a solid lineup. Which players are still available after the end of the season?
For now, 2023 could be described as the year of free agents. Already countless footballers have found a new home at the end of their current contract, but the market is still full of other names that clubs can grab for free.

During the summer transfer period so far, we’ve had the chance to see a lot of interesting moves. Perhaps the biggest question mark hung over the next destination of Lionel Messi, who will eventually move to Inter Miami after two years at PSG. Here he will be joined by his former teammate Sergio Busquets.
PSG have received very solid reinforcements in the form of central defender Martin Škriniar and midfielder Marco Asensio. Barcelona managed to get experienced defender Iñigo Martínez and Ilkay Gündogan arrived from Manchester City.
Konrad Laimer and Raphaël Guerreiro move to Bayern Munich. Mahmoud Dahoud and James Milner to Brighton. Houssem Aouar and Evan N’Dicka join AS Roma and Youri Tielemans joins Aston Villa.
Premier League
David de Gea is certainly among the most high-profile names to defend the colours of a Premier League club, as he bids farewell to Manchester United after twelve long years. In his case and further engagements, there could be a complication with too high salary demands.
Another intriguing prospect is Wilfried Zaha, who is delaying his decision due to a change of agent. The African striker is now recovering from an injury and considering other options. However, Crystal Palace are confident that they will be able to extend his contract.
Spanish speedster Adama Traore, whose name has been linked with AC Milan in recent days, is also without a contract. Considering the great interest from Barcelona and Tottenham from earlier years, it is a surprise that there is not much talk about his next destination.
Other free agents include Lucas Moura, Willian, Jesse Lingaard, Manuel Lanzini, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Diego Costa, João Moutinho, or Yerry Mina.
La Liga
If we look back to the Spanish top flight, there is no such list of big names.
Among the most interesting are former Real Madrid players Mariano Díaz and Eden Hazard. Defenders Matt Doherty and Jordi Alba are also without a valid contract.
Serie A
In the Italian league we could find, for example, the Colombian all-rounder Juan Cuadrado. He has been linked with a move to Sevilla or Fenerbahce after finishing at Juventus.
Inter Milan parted ways with club legend Samir Handanovic after eleven years, along with defender Danilo Ambrosio. Both remain free agents.
According to recent reports, the Champions League finalist could try to acquire Brazilian midfielder Roberto Pereyra, who is out of contract at Udinese.
Ligue 1
The French league also offers a plentiful number of footballers without a contract and after the Premier League players, definitely the most interesting one.
Footballers like Jonathan Bamba, Moussa Dembele, Ross Barkley, Sergio Ramos, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey, Jerome Boateng and Kevin Gameiro are still up for grabs.
Bundesliga
We wouldn’t find many free and sound players in the German league. One of the most interesting ones, however, is Daichi Kamada. The Japanese offensive midfielder played 47 games for Frankfurt this season and scored 16 goals.
Of all the freely available footballers, this is the player with the highest market value. This is around 30 million euros. According to Transfermarkt, AC Milan and Al Hilal are the two most serious suitors.
