A few dozen hours ago, according to several sources, Mbappé came forward with the information that he wants to leave PSG as soon as possible. The reaction to this was, of course, not only the coach of the Parisian team Christophe Galtier, but also PSG advisor Luís Campos and defenders Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi.

Not so long ago, Kylian Mbappé signed a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain, which guaranteed him a huge financial reward. And not only that, the French giant has simply done everything possible to keep Mbappé at PSG. And that includes almost unlimited powers.

The Parisians offered the 23-year-old striker an even crazier signing bonus of €100 million in addition to his insane salary (Mbappé was to earn €250 million over three seasons – ed.).

But that’s not all, Mbappé is also supposed to have a say in departures and additions to the squad. He himself was supposed to be behind the sacking of coach Pochettino and he wanted to get rid of Neymar as well, which is why their relationship is at a standstill.

The young French super talent has therefore decided to stay at PSG given the conditions set. However, he has now come forward to say that he no longer wants to stay in Paris.

Mbappé has also stated that he wants to leave PSG as soon as possible, preferably in the January transfer window. And what is his dream destination? The royal club Real Madrid, of course.

Ramos, Hakimi, Galtier and Campos

A really big number of experts, fans, but also players or officials themselves have reacted to the French international and the spreading speculations.

After PSG’s draw with Benfica yesterday, Canal+ journalists asked former Real Madrid player and legend, Spaniard Ramos, about this topic in a post-match interview. However, he did not want to comment too much on the situation around Mbappé.

“The only thing I can tell you is that Kylian and I are very good friends. He is very happy every day. He didn’t leave last year. I don’t believe the rumours and we concentrate on our work. We don’t read the newspapers.”

“We always talk about these things. But I saw that Kylian was focused on the game and we didn’t talk about it. You’re the one who takes things out of context. He’s focused on the club, he’s happy here. I see him happy and I think that’s the most important thing,” defender Hakimi, quoted by Get French Football News, criticised the journalists.

Coach Galtier also described it as a rumour and a very surprising matter. Even the PSG advisor sounded surprised in his statement.

“I’m very surprised because I spend all my days with Kylian and not once did he ask me or the president that he wanted to leave in January. It’s some news that came out a few hours before an important game against Benfica,” said Campos, whose words were again quoted by Get French Football News.
