Is the Premier League or the Champions League harder? The Manchester City star is clear

Jokes are increasingly circulating on social media that Pep Guardiola has turned the Premier League into a farm league. The reason, of course, is Manchester City’s spectacular dominance, which has only been confirmed this season.
One of the players contributing to this dominance with his performances is English defender Kyle Walker, who has been defending the Citizens colours since the summer of 2017.
He understandably cannot be dissatisfied with his club’s progress. One thing, however, is missing. “Manchester City need to win the Champions League. We say it every season. We need to compete with Manchester United and Liverpool,” Walker expressed in an interview with talkSPORT.
The Citizens came close to the trophy last season, but fell short to Chelsea in the final. According to the England international, the better team won on the day.
He has won the Premier League three times since arriving at the Etihad Stadium, yet he believes it is a tougher competition than the Champions League.
“It is different, you have to fight your way through 38 games. In the Champions League there are only 13 games. I want to win the Premier League but the Champions League is something you dream about. Hopefully my dreams will come true this year,” explained the England international.
Walker is under contract at Manchester City until 2024, he is now 31 years old but still feels fresh. He certainly doesn’t want to end his career without a trophy for the Champions League winners.
Besides, the Citizens star believes that his employer deserves the trophy just because of the way the whole club has performed in recent years. Thus, he hopes that Manchester City will win as many trophies as possible in all possible competitions.
