Tottenham will probably have to deal with the loss of their biggest star. Harry Kane wants to end his wait for a trophy and is heading to the competition.

He has stated in the past that he loves Spurs, but if he feels the club is not going in the right direction, he will not be staying just for the sake of it. “I’m ambitious, I want to become one of the best players,” he made his voice heard before last season.

Now it seems that the time has come where Kane no longer has the best thoughts about the direction of the club. He has made that quite clear.

Indeed, he was due to report to the club’s backroom on Monday to undergo a series of various tests, including a coronavirus test. He was then due to join the team. But he didn’t.

The 28-year-old goal scorer did not arrive on Tuesday and all the speculations gained momentum. The most talked about transfer to Manchester City, which would also make the most sense. It would provide Guardiola with a whole new set of options, with the Citizens arguably the most stable team in the Premier League right now.

Furthermore, Kane could aspire to surpass Alan Shearer in goals scored in England’s top league competition. He currently has 166, which puts him in seventh place. The Newcastle legend has 260.
