Galatasaray is interested in another star. The Turkish giant has only confirmed the arrival of Victor Osimhen in the last few hours and is now hunting Manchester United. The club’s management have taken an interest in Brazilian Casemiro, who they have been tracking for some time.

  • Galatasaray is very active in the transfer market this summer
  • Victor Osimhen arrived in Istanbul in the last few hours
  • The Turkish giant is now also hunting at Manchester United

The Turkish giant has been properly active during this summer’s transfer window. It had to be, as several capable players left the squad.

Nicolo Zaniolo (Atalanta), Matthias Ross (Sparta), Brazilian Tete (Panathinaikos), Wilfried Zaha (Lyon) and above all also Kerem Aktürkoglu, who headed to Benfica, left Galatasaray. It is therefore clear that the Istanbul club had to make a move in the transfer market.

Already at the beginning of July, the club announced two transfers. Hakim Ziyech arrived from Chelsea and Michy Batshuayi from Fenerbahce. Then Elias Jelert transferred from Copenhagen, and Brazilian Gabriel Sara from Norwich for 18 million euros.

But the last truly giant reinforcement is Victor Osimhen. He has already signed a contract in Istanbul, which does not include a transfer option. In the case of the Nigerian forward, it is a one-year loan until June 2025.

Galatasaray, however, has another big name on its radar. This is the experienced Brazilian Casemiro, who is currently still defending the colours of Manchester United.

As already reported by the British newspaper The Times, the thirty-two-year-old midfielder has been on the Turkish club’s radar for quite some time and now they are really seriously considering his commitment. Galatasaray reportedly plan to send an official offer to the Premier League team.

However, the problem is that the transfer window in England has already ended. Manchester would have no one to replace him. In fact, coach Erik ten Hag has only Manuel Ugarte and 20-year-old Toby Collyer to fill his position.
