Czech footballers were seen in the Bundesliga again this weekend. While some of them rejoiced at the victory of their clubs, others had to accept defeat. Three Czech players then took a point for the draw.

Pavel Kadeřábek played the whole game against Mainz and celebrated a 4-1 win. Hoffenheim played against ten from the 41st minute and Kadeřábek sealed the win with his fourth goal.

Before that, he had also contributed to the home team’s second goal with a cross. Both Patrik Schick and Adam Hložek started in the starting line-up for Bayer Leverkusen against Hertha Berlin.

Both of them had good scoring chances, but failed to find the Berlin goalkeeper. Schick finally scored and secured a point for Leverkusen in the 2-2 draw.

The Czech striker played the whole game, Hložek came on in the 66th minute. On the other side, Vladimir Darida came on the field only in stoppage time.

Jiri Pavlenka only lasted 29 minutes in goal for Werder Bremen. He was injured in a fight with an Augsburg player. He had to withdraw with a thigh injury. His club lost 0:1 at home and conceded a penalty in stoppage time.

Tomas Koubek was not even on the bench of Augsburg. Alex Král sat on the bench for the whole match. His Schalke beat Bochum 3: 1, but the Czech international did not get into the game.
