The Czech Republic defends the 16th position in the coefficient. This allows to have four teams in the European leagues. However, the number four might not be the final number if the Mol Cup is won by a team that is not in one of the top four positions at the end of the season. The winner of the Mol Cup was Slovácko, who finished fourth in the league, so Czech football will have only four representatives in the cups.

Viktoria Plzeň

The champion Plzeň will go into the second preliminary round of the Champions League as the seeded team. The last time Plzeň managed to do that was four years ago, when it finished in the third round of the Champions League. Back then, Viktoria failed to advance past FCSB from Romania. If the Plzeň team had reached the third preliminary round, it would have been seeded again and would have also been assured of participation in the Europa Conference regular group.

If Plzeň were to drop out in the second round of the Champions League, Bilek’s selection would move on to the third round of the Europa League where it would face an opponent that also dropped out in the second round of the Champions League.

Slavia Prague

Slavia will play in the conference league, starting in the second round. In all the preliminary rounds where the Susians could reach, they would be seeded.

Slovácko

Slovácko secured the third preliminary round of the European Conference League by winning the Mol Cup. However, if Feyenoord wins the Europa League final, the team from Uherské Hradiště will reach the third round of the Europa League.

However, there is another possibility that would also push Slovácko into the third preliminary round of the Europa League. If AS Rome defeated Feyenoord in the final, but finished sixth in Serie A, that would open up a spot for the team from Uherské Hradiště.

Sparta Prague

The last representative of Czech football in the European Cup is Sparta. Karabec and co. should play the second round of the European Conference League.
