“I am thrilled to have scored my first national team goal. Patrik Schick did a great job and I was a bit lucky with the shot,” he said.

Hložek was one of the best players of his team, but he played both halves in a different position. He started on the sub, but played the second half on the edge of the midfield.

“Both positions are completely different. On the sub, I play with my back to the stoppers, from the side I have more in front of me. In the first half we basically had no space for anything.

In the second half it opened up a bit and it was better. But I’m mainly happy that we won and got three points,” he added.
