I’ll come back by force, says Ibrahimovic and refuses to retire! No one is stronger than me, he says
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still struggling with the injury he sustained at the end of last season, when he helped AC Milan win the title after 11 years. However, after his comeback and another injury, there was a lot of speculation about his career ending, but now the Swedish cannonballer has resolutely refuted that.
The 40-year-old Swedish international has been plagued by injuries in recent years, which is of course a logical thing given his age. However, Ibrahimovic still rejects speculation that he will end his active career and intends to make a violent comeback
“You will definitely see me again. When I come back, I will be heard, you can count on it. I will do it by force. I’m not retiring, I’m coming back and I’m not giving up. If I see a player stronger than me, I’ll stop. But so far I haven’t seen anyone like that,” Ibrahimovic said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
As always, these are very strong words from Ibrahimovic and it is also a testament to how much he loves football and what he is willing to sacrifice for it.
The Malmö native had to undergo surgery on his injured anterior cruciate ligament in May and is not expected to return to the pitch until the new year. And it is this surgery that has sparked much speculation about the end of his career.
However, as we write above, nothing like that is in the pipeline. Ibrahimovic was one of the important figures in the AC cabinet last season, although he only played 23 games. However, he helped Milan to the title with eight goals and three assists.
King Ibrahimovic
Ibrahimovic also had a big influence in the AC Milan cabinet, as it is no secret that he was one of the main motivators before important matches. With this speech, for example, he brought down the whole cabin after winning the championship title.
The Rossoneri won the Scudetto after eleven years and are heading for the defence in the current edition. Although Ibrahimovic hasn’t featured in any matches so far, his return at the beginning of next year will mean the addition of another dangerous name to AC’s offensive line.
