If anyone can stop Manchester City? Liverpool are a pain in the ass, Guardiola says

Manchester City are once again running like a perfectly oiled machine. On Tuesday they destroyed Sporting Lisbon of Portugal in the Champions League semi-final clash and it seems that you could hardly find a team with better form in the world right now. Who can stop the Citizens? Pep Guardiola himself has provided the answer.
For thirteen games Manchester City have not found an opponent, and overall they have lost only one game since the beginning of November.
In the Premier League, Pep Guardiola’s charges hold first place with a nine-point lead over second-placed Liverpool, which, however, has a game to play. The Catalan strategist would also like to win the Champions League winner’s trophy this year.
After advancing out of the group in the millionaire competition, Manchester City faced Sporting Lisbon and the very first match ended in total annihilation. The Citizens won 5: 0 and gave the Portuguese side no chance.
So Guardiola had to face some interesting questions at the press conference. For example, he was answering the question if someone can break the dominance of his charges this season. The reaction was quite clear.
“Liverpool. It’s our biggest rival in recent seasons, they are always close to us. They’re a pain in the ass. They have a fantastic team,” the Citizens coach revealed at the press conference who the biggest danger is.
In the Champions League, however, Liverpool have a slightly tougher opponent than Manchester City. Jürgen Klopp’s charges must complete a double-header with Inter Milan.
Can Guardiola and his squad walk away with European football’s most prestigious trophy?
