I put my title on the line for a fight like this? Wait a while before I go there again, Procházka reacts to title fight

The UFC 282 tournament is over and those who didn’t see it may be disappointed. There were a few surprises, no one now holds the welterweight title! The reason for that is the draw between Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev.
After an injury to Jiri Prochazka, it was announced that Blachowicz of Poland and Ankalaev of Russia will go for the title. The winner of this duel was to face Glover Teixeira.
However, the fight did not have a winner, which is not very usual. The match ended in a split decision draw, with each of the judges having a different opinion.
One saw the Pole winning, one saw the Russian winning, and one saw a draw. That means the title is still vacant, to which Procházka himself reacted shortly after the fight.
“I watched the title fight in quotes. Everybody knows who the champion is. Just give me some time,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
He then briefly commented for iSport. “I put my title on the line for a fight like this?” he wondered. “This situation means nothing to me now. It’s still the same, when I go back I’ll go for the title. Nothing more.
I had a little faith that since it’s a title fight, the guys would fight really hard. They’re gonna put on some fireworks, but… I got nothing to say. Except..: Wait a while before I go there again,” he said.
So in the end, he’s not likely to run into one of these wrestlers on his return. The reason is simple, because two other wrestlers will be going for the title in January.
Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill, who has only ever lost to Paul Craig, will fight for the vacant title in Brazil last summer.
Ankalaev in particular was incensed after the fight as he didn’t understand why he didn’t win. According to his words, he is even strongly considering his future in the organization.
