Frenchman Benoit Paire is one of the tennis players who find it very difficult to play without spectators. “I don’t care that I lost today,” he said even after being eliminated in the first round of the Monte Carlo tournament.
Benoit Paire is a thirty-one-year-old tennis player originally from France. He is currently ranked 35th in the ATP rankings, with his best ranking being 18th in January 2016.
Paire can be very happy for his current ranking. After all, he has not been doing well lately and is one of the tennis players who is not completely comfortable playing in front of empty stands.
Since 22 August 2020, the Frenchman, who has been a professional since 2007, has played seventeen competitive matches. He has left the court as a loser fifteen times.
In the current season, he has only faced Nicolas Jarry, who is ranked 633rd in the ATP rankings. His second win after the coronavirus pandemic was against Korean Soonwoo Kwon at the French Open.
“I don’t care that I lost today. I don’t care about the results. I felt like I was in a graveyard and I can’t take it anymore. I don’t have the spark or the motivation anymore,” Paire said after losing at Monte Carlo.
