I don’t care, Gavi reacts to Bellingham’s transfer to Real Madrid

The young Catalan star, Gavi, certainly didn’t mince his words in his last interview and when asked about Jude Bellingham’s transfer to the rival club, the Barcelona gem responded in no uncertain terms.

After the triumph of Xavi Hernandez’s charges in the Spanish top flight, Real Madrid is strengthening its squad. And significantly!

The first big transfer that Los Blancos have completed is the transfer of Englishman Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

The midfielder, who will wear the iconic number 5 on his jersey from the upcoming season, arrived at the Santiago Bernabéu for a sum of around 103 million euros.

Barcelona regained the title of La Liga kings last season after four long years and, according to the words of Spanish midfielder Gavi, will do so again this coming season.

“Barca is not in an ideal economic situation, we have to admit that. But we have some other great and strong talents coming from the academy.”

“We have a great team. Real Madrid can sign whoever they want, I don’t care! We have our own players and this year we will do absolutely everything to win,” the youngster told Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan big club finished the last league season just 10 abysmal points ahead of their Madrid rivals. The latter, however, will certainly be looking to more than narrow the gap this season.

In addition to the arrival of the aforementioned Bellingham, the White Ballet are also announcing reinforcements in the offensive direction.

The Spanish forward Joselu is now part of the club. He joins the team on loan from Barcelona Espanyol.

Moreover, Joselu may not be the only offensive mainstay for this season. PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé is once again on Los Blancos’ radar.

The Frenchman has told the French club that he won’t be extending his contract and thus the management would like to wring a considerable amount of money out of him before Mbappé’s contract expires.
