I can’t not give it! Watch how the Elche striker missed an empty net against Real Madrid

Real Madrid faced Elche in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, but had to go to extra time to win. It might not have happened if Guido Carillo had hit the open goal.
Los Blancos came to the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero with a mixed line-up, with Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois and the serving Eder Militao staying at home.
After the initial signs from the visitors, Elche softened up and went on the attack as well. And it was a great chance.
A long ball in behind the defence was missed by Marcelo in a slip, allowing Josan to cross into the box. He laid the ball off to Carrillo in front of an empty net, the fans in the stadium were already raising their hands.
But prematurely. Goalkeeper Lunin was out of the game and although the Argentine striker was in a small area and had a completely open goal, it inexplicably didn’t end in a goal. Carrillo’s shot went down on his heel and instead of the whole goal being uncovered, it hit the crossbar.
The game then went into extra time after a goalless draw, in which Marcelo made it difficult for Real Madrid with a red card. In addition, a subsequent direct kick sent Elche ahead through Verdu and things looked bleak for the Merengues.
Carlo Ancelotti showed his lucky hand, though, as two substitutes turned the game around even with ten players. First, Isco scored in the 108th minute, followed by Hazard in the 115th minute.
