Hungarian coach makes jokes about the trio of Ronaldo, Mbappé and Neuer
Few people doubt Marco Rossi’s abilities anymore. The Hungarian national team showed great qualities at the European Championship, losing only to Portugal in a very difficult group with football giants.
Few people doubt Marco Rossi’s abilities anymore. The Hungarian national team showed great qualities at the European Championship, losing only to Portugal in a very difficult group with football giants. That is why it is not surprising that the Italian coach is having fun at the expense of the biggest football stars of today.
Hungary was certainly not jubilant after the draw of the European Championship’s preliminary groups. The group with Germany, France and Portugal was labelled the group of death without any doubt. But that turned out to be a wrong analysis in the end.
After all, not even one of the trio of the driving forces of their respective national teams (Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Manuel Neuer) was able to lead their team to even the quarter-finals, which was totally unprecedented in previous years and even now is shocking!
“See you on the beach!“.
Hungary could have advanced on their own, holding on to the result until the 84th minute. However, it was Leon Goretzka who was up against it, and he secured Germany one point for a 2-2 draw, which was a promotion.
Marco Rossi, however, made a great name for himself and proved his coaching skills to the whole of Europe. Overall, the Hungarian national team boasts a record of 32 games – 15 wins – 7 draws – 10 losses and a score of 45::37.
The great atmosphere in Budapest, which definitely lifted the whole EURO 2020 and helped us to advance over the Netherlands, will also be remembered.
