The Czech national team will play a friendly match against Ukraine at the end of the September tournament, in which coach Šilhavý will give space to unused players and a few newcomers. What line-up could the Czechs field?

In goal, coach Jaroslav Šilhavý has three options. The first one is Filip Nguyen from Slovácko, for whom this is not the first meeting, but he has not yet made his debut in the Czech jersey.

The second option is Jindřich Staněk, who made his debut against Belgium, conceded two goals but saved three chances for Romelu Lukaku. The third choice is young Matěj Kovář, who joined the squad from the U21 national team meeting and replaced the injured Tomáš Vaclík.

Stanek will probably get a chance, Nguyen could come on in the second half. Havel will probably start as a right back, while Kaša – Jemelka should start at fullback. Matějů should start at left back.

Sadílek and Sáček could be given space in the centre of midfield, with Král, who did not play against Belgium, operating in front of them.

Zmrhal and Wiesner are likely to start on the flanks of the midfield, with either Tecl or Doležal at the top.

Probable line-up of the Czech national team:

Stanek
Havel – Kaša – Jemelka – Matějů
Sacek – Sadilek
Wiesner – Král – Zmrhal
Tecl
