How much did Lewandowski actually cost Barcelona?
FC Barcelona have finally met Bayern Munich’s demands and the Polish canon Robert Lewandowski is moving to Catalonia. But how many millions will actually go to Munich? And how much money will the whole package on behalf of Lewandowski cost Barcelona?

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported that the amount for Lewandowski was expected to be €45m + €5m in bonuses.
However, as a journalist, Romano is closer to Barcelona than Bayern Munich, which is why the news from Germany is interesting.
Manuel Veth, who has his contacts far more in Munich, added to this report by saying that the €5m in bonuses should be easily achievable.
In addition to this, another clause worth €10m has been agreed between the clubs, which FC Barcelona will pay back to Bayern gradually according to the number of games Lewandowski plays for them.
The entire transfer amount could thus very easily climb to €60m. And let’s add to that the undisclosed fees to agents, traditionally up to 10% of the transfer fee + 3% of the player’s salary for the duration of the contract, so say something between €5-8m.
Add to that the salary, reportedly €9m per season, i.e. €18m cost to Barcelona (after adding tax), the whole package on Lewandowski’s behalf will cost FC Barcelona some €140m if the full four-year contract is honoured.
