Sparta failed to defeat the leading team of the Serbian Super League in any match. A resilient Partizan deservedly advanced past Sparta into the ECL Eight Finals after wins of 1: 0 and 2: 1.
With the win, Serbia added 0.500 points to their coefficient ranking and are in a sensational 11th place in the whole of Europe.
Slavia delivered an excellent team performance supported by some great individual performances. They produced a total of 21 shots against Fenerbahce! The star of the match was the Nigerian speedster Yira Sor, who scored two goals and got in plenty of other opportunities.
In any case, the promotion is absolutely deserved and Slavia is looking forward to the next European tour.
How do the fans and the professional public react to the performance of Prague’s “S” in the European Conference League?
Public reaction to Sparta’s elimination
“Out of Europe, a bad performance. I was terribly afraid that a sports manager with no experience (although he is a legend of the club) would one day be escorted out with the exclamation Rosicky OUT. I’m sorry, but it seems to me that such a day is coming.”
“Ridiculous ineptitude and inability to deal with completely routine situations. Otherwise, Sparta are trying a new system, playing a 3-2-5 in the midfield with Hanck at third midfielder. Pesek in the midfield, Wiesner on the edge – a very unusual option.”
Public reaction to the promotion of Slavia
“Slavia, today with a very international line-up, managed the rematch with Fenerbahce in an excellent sporting and social way. The engagement of Sora proves to be a very fortunate and prudent move.”
