Slavia Prague is not having a good season, a bunch of injuries and two defeats in a relatively short period (Sparta Prague and Maccabi Haifa). Neither the team nor the Sešiv community is used to this. How did Jindřich Trpišovský evaluate the lost European Conference League match?

Just like at Feyenoord, the Slavs played a terrible first half. In the second act they stepped up a bit, but their game was accompanied by a lot of turnovers and setbacks. In addition, both Oscar and Ousou were on fire several times defensively.

On the offensive end, the Sixers got a total of 20 shots, but not a single one ended up in the net. The mathematics of progression is now clear, the Red and Whites must win the rest of the games.

The football public on social media did not really care about the performance of the most successful Czech team in recent years.

Of course, even coach Trpišovský was not happy about the lacklustre performance. Although he pointed out that Maccabi is the champion of the Israeli league and that it was clear in advance that they could beat anyone in the group, but still he was very disappointed.

Jindřich Trpišovský’s assessment

“Our performance was not enough to get points here. We made a lot of mistakes defensively and gave poor individual performances. We were not able to convert even one chance and got a cheap goal. We lost a lot of duels,” Trpišovský pointed out at the post-match press conference the reasons for the defeat.

“It’s the fourth away game in a stormy atmosphere and we can’t perform like we do at home. The matches were similar. The game turns into us having an open pitch and the opponent going on breaks. We have to do a better job of preventing dangerous situations.

We have three points after three rounds. It doesn’t put us in an easy position. Itputs us in the role that we have to win maximum points in the remaining matches,” he admitted that Slavia will be under pressure for the rest of the competition.
