Monaco have everything in their hands ahead of the return leg. They won 2-0 at Letná thanks to goals from Aurélien Tchouaméni and Kevin Volland, so they can afford to lose by a goal at home.

Sparta is also in a good mood before the rematch. The main goal was to qualify for the Europa League, which they did by beating Rapid Vienna, and the Champions League would be just the icing on the cake.

Monaco rely on the goal-scoring attacking duo of Wissam Ben Yedder – Kevin Volland, combined these two were one of the best in Europe last season. Winger Gelson Martins also deserves attention.

Pavel Vrba, on the other hand, can be satisfied with the performances of summer signing Jakub Pesek, who is both a goalscorer and very physically fit. Dávid Hancko and Adam Hložek are the mainstays, just like last year.
