How do Slavs evaluate the Champions League draw? They expect to face the Hungarian champion!

Los Slavia was awarded the winner of the Ferencváros vs. Žalgiris Vilnius double-header. The Slavs know that they will have to travel to Hungary or Lithuania. Most, however, believe in the Hungarian champion’s progress. Assistant coach Jaroslav Köstl, striker Jan Kuchta and Ondřej Lingr commented on the important match of the 3rd Champions League preliminary round for the club TV. The club’s vice-president Tomáš Syrovátka also tweeted a bit unhappily.
Jaroslav Köstl watched the lottery ticket in the car on the way to training. He talked about being very curious to see what the duel between the Hungarian and Lithuanian champions would bring. There is certainly no doubt that he and the Slavic management team will subject their potential opponents to maximum analysis.
The Slavs have long been able to read their opponents in the European Cup and then put it into practice. Hopefully, it will be no different in the Champions League 3rd preliminary round, even if Slavia’s miserable summer preparation plays against them.
Somewhat unhappily, the club’s vice-president Tomas Syrovátka reacted to the draw by pointing to the clash with Ferencváros beforehand, for which he was criticised on Twitter.
Fans did not let the post go unnoticed and pointed out that it was not a very nice gesture towards Zalgiris. Syrovátka subsequently apologised for his actions.
Los and comments of the Slavs
“I know more about Ferencváros. I followed their journey through the Champions League (last year), where they advanced through 3 preliminary rounds. They knocked out some really great teams, whether it was Celtic, Dinamo Zagreb or Molde. They changed coaches before the season, a coach who used to coach Dortmund came in, so there will be some quality on the coaching bench. It’s a team that relies on great players up top,” said assistant coach Jaroslav Köstl about Ferencváros
“It will not be easy. We’ll see who it will be in the end, I rather believe Ferencváros, because that team is stronger at least on paper and it would be great for our fans. If I understand it correctly, in Hungary the stadium is allowed to be full capacity,” said the key man of the Seychelles management team.
“Ferencváros has won the Hungarian league 3 times in a row. They have a lot of representatives there, both from Hungary and Slovakia, for example Róbert Mak. It won’t be easy. The Hungarians have great fans and I would rather choose a Lithuanian opponent,” said offensive-minded midfielder Ondřej Lingr.
