In ten days Slavia will play the first quarter-final of the European Conference League against Dutch Feyeenord Rotterdam. How are the players of the port club doing in their senior teams?

Left back Tyrell Malacia has received his second invitation to the Dutch senior national team. In the match against Denmark, the highlight of which was Christian Eriksen’s goal, he came on in the 76th minute with the score tied 4-2.

Two summer signings from Feyeenord Molde joined the Norwegian national team. Right back Marcus Pedersen was in the starting line-up for the friendly against Slovakia and played the full ninety minutes.

Defensive midfielder Fredrik Aursnes entered the game in the 71st minute and got the midfield moving with his arrival. The Norwegians then managed to break down the Slovak defence with two goals in the space of three minutes and won 2:0.

The players of Slavia have already seen the qualities of Orkun Kökcü in the autumn. He scored a beautiful goal in the opening match, boasting excellent kicking technique for a twenty-one year old. Kökcü played eighty minutes of the barrage match against Portugal (1::3).

Perhaps the most dangerous opponent for the Seychelles defensive line in the quarter-finals will be the young Luis Sinisterra. The speedy Colombian has been on the scoresheet for twenty-nine goals (18+11), and logged 65 minutes for Colombia against Bolivia. He will face a World Cup barrier clash with Venezuela on Wednesday.

Slavia will play their first quarter-final match on 7 March on the opponent’s soil, and they will also have a tough match against Plzeň. The return leg will be played a week later in Prague, while the Red and Whites will play a home league match against Pardubice.
