Houštecký: We consulted van Buren about Feyenoord. It should be offensive football from both teams

Slavia will play Feyenoord in their next Conference League match, who have been in great form in the Eredivisie and are scoring a lot of goals. What did assistant coach Zdeněk Houštecký reveal before his departure?
Slavia beat Union Berlin 3:1 in their opening group match, while Feyenoord drew 0:0 with Maccabi Haifa. Susians go into the second round as table leaders, but nothing easy awaits them at the 50,000-seater De Kuip Stadium.
Feyenoord have been in great form in the Eredivisie, scoring 12 goals in their last three games. They are third behind Ajax and Willem II but have a game in hand.
“It’s Europe, we’re all looking forward to it. We are in a good mood, it’s the first confrontation with Dutch football. I was discussing it with Mick van Buren, congratulating him on the successful match in Budweis, and we also wrote to each other about our match, because he is a big Feyenoord fan, so we have perfect information about them,” Zdeněk Houštecký told SlaviaTV.
The Dutch footballer van Buren helped Czech Budejovice to a 3-1 win over Karviná at the weekend, scoring a goal and an assist.
And how does Houštecký expect the match at Feyenoord to be?
“The Dutch league is generally offensive. Teams like Feyenoord, PSV, Ajax are top offensive teams. But we are also very offensive right now. But we have to be careful, this Europe is always about not scoring goals. But it looks like it should be a good game for the fans who want to enjoy offensive football from both sides,” Houštecký is looking forward to the clash.
Slavia is still plagued by defensive absences, especially at the stopper position. On Sunday, however, the team will face a derby with Sparta, so it is possible that the starting lineup will not be fully available for Feyenoord, as the league is more important for Slavia this year.
