Hložek and Schick in the starting line-up against Atlético Madrid! Can they reverse Leverkusen’s poor form?
Bayer Leverkusen are having a rough start to the season. They have only won against Mainz, otherwise they have lost four times and drawn once in the league. They fell to Brugge in the Champions League and will now look to reverse their form at home against Atlético. And that’s with Hložek and Schick in the starting line-up.

Bayer Leverkusen’s form is so bad that there is already much debate about the coach’s dismissal. A single win in the season, otherwise all losses, is definitely not something the club and the fans can be happy with.
Bayer now face a tough home game against Atlético Madrid, which would be a good one to win as they fell away to Brugge in the opener.
The line-up is already out and we can see two Czech representatives in it. Specifically, offensive players Patrik Schick and Adam Hložek, who joined Leverkusen in the summer.
Both of them started in the starting line-up against Hertha, Schick even scored a goal, but he couldn’t prevent the draw. But the coach made some changes.
Frimpong and Palacios are missing from the lineup compared to the last game, replaced by Kossonou and Andrich. In particular, the name of the former is missing from the lineup for several fans.
The match kicks off at 9pm and you can watch it via Nova Sport 4.
