Prague Slavia celebrated its 130th birthday on Wednesday! However, the oldest Czech club’s celebrations are slightly spoiled, the reason being the end of the European Conference League, from which a clear promotion was expected. The best moment of the last match was the hilarious choreo of the Tribuna Sever.
2. in November 1892, the Prague Slavia was founded. The then cycling club is today one of the best Czech teams and regularly represents our country in European cup competitions.
Unfortunately, there came a big disappointment. Although Slavia got a relatively acceptable group, in the end they had to bow to Cluj and Sivaspor.
Both teams could not beat them even once. They lost twice to Cluj and only drew with the Turkish team. Eight points are not enough to qualify for the spring stages.
The most positive moment of the last match was the fans. Tribuna Sever prepared a choreo that is unprecedented on the Czech fan scene.
Slavie fans donned capes and created a choreo dominated by the number 130, which commemorates the anniversary of the club’s foundation on Tuesday.
They stood in their capes until the end of the match, which is almost impossible in other forms of choreo. Five minutes before the end, we could also see the cartonade and Tribuna Sever received a big applause on social media.
