Helsingborg vs. Djurgarden: Preview and betting tips

Monday’s poor football schedule will offer a Swedish league match that could tangle with the title fight. Helsingborg will welcome Djurgarden on their home ground and in case of a win by the visitors, it is Djurgarden who will top the table.

Helsingborg has been struggling so far, winning only one of their thirteen games, and they have only gained one point from the last five rounds. They are last in the table, three points behind the bargaining position and six points behind the direct rescue.

Djurgarden, on the other hand, has won the last three rounds and is now second in the league. The table is very even, with Hacken only a point behind first place, while fourth place Stockholm is only a point worse.

Helsingborg’s biggest star is captain Anthony van den Hurk, the Curacao native has scored three times and assisted twice. Winger Taha Ali also has three hits, plus one assist.

On the away side, Victor Edvardsen is firing it up, the Swedish point forward has hit four times and assisted three times. Joel Asor is also doing well, fulfilling the role of super-sub with a record of five goals and two assists for the number one team.

Helsingborg has struggled especially in attack, having the second worst one, scoring more than once in addition to only once in the last eight games.

Djurgarden, on the other hand, is firing, scoring three or more goals in three of their last four games.

Given the form of Djurgarden’s attack and the home side’s poor record, I think the visitors will win.
