The last UFC offered us some interesting moments. One of them was undoubtedly Rafa Garcia’s fight with Maheshate Haysaer. The former lost a huge amount of blood and basically risked his life to win.

David Dvorak also showed up at the last tournament, but unfortunately, as expected, he succumbed to Manuel Kapea and thus scored his second defeat in a row.

However, this match did not stand out in any way, except for the kimura in the first round. In the last tournament, the match between Rafa Garcia and Maheshate Hayisaer was particularly interesting.

The twenty-eight year old Mexican was happy with the victory, but he basically risked his life as he lost a huge amount of blood.

In the second round, Garcia ran into a sharp elbow from Hayisaer, which left a big gash on his head. The blood was practically gushing out of it.

Blood was everywhere, the cage turned red, but both fighters continued to fight. Garcia got the fight to the third round, which surprisingly the doctor allowed him to go to.

In the end, the Mexican was happy to win on points, but he himself probably didn’t realize he was risking his life. After the fight, he actually went for stitches and it was only there that it became clear how serious it was.

Rafa had injured his artery, so the medical team tried to stop the bleeding and stitch up the tear almost two hours after the match itself.

“The doctors told me that I had lost 20% of the total amount of blood in my body. On the surface, it was a small thing, but it wasn’t until I was backstage that the real fight was fought and you couldn’t see it anymore,” Garcia told ESPN.
