Hazard will leave Real Madrid on one condition, says player’s brother!

Eden Hazard was supposed to be the star who would stir the waters of Spanish La Liga and become the main face of Real Madrid after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. But this season the royal club has run out of patience with the player and will reportedly look to offload him in the summer.

Hazard has failed to live up to expectations and has broken the jinx in Spain

When Real Madrid announced the arrival of Eden Hazard in the summer of 2020, Chelsea fans mourned and Los Blancos celebrated the arrival of a new face who was supposed to take the royal scepter in the Madrid attack. However, various injuries plagued him during his three-year stint at the club from the Spanish capital and the Belgian international’s performances were not worthy of the royal jersey.

Often, the Belgian international ended up on the bench of the royal club even after the final whistle and for the third season he is just a shadow of that striker who tore the Premier League defences. The Belgian’s future is thus one of the key issues that Real Madrid must address in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The footballer’s brother has said that Hazard will leave Real Madrid on one condition

Hazard’s brother Kylian has stated that the striker has no intention of leaving the club and instead wants to fight for his place in the team. This, among other things, has been said by the footballer himself after every wasted season and Real Madrid fans as well as the club’s management are already losing patience with the player.

“(Eden Hazard) will not leave Real Madrid until he succeeds in the team,” brother Kylian said according to Spanish daily Marca. “He has proved it in all the clubs he has played for and in my opinion he doesn’t want to leave and he won’t leave,” he confirmed the Belgian player’s determination.

However, the Belgian footballer’s brother has expressed one condition under which Hazard could leave Real Madrid as early as this summer. “If the president (Florentino Pérez) wants him to leave, that is, if he knows he won’t play, then I don’t think he will stay,” he voiced the possibility under which the Belgian international could leave the club. “But I can assure you that he will do everything to show that he is the best player of Real Madrid,” he added.

It is obvious that Kylian will support his brother at all costs, however, his last sentence in particular is hard to believe judging by his three years of performances and the form of Real Madrid’s attacking players. It makes his departure from the club this summer far more likely.

Whether the club will succeed is another matter. Hazard, who is one of the club’s highest earning players despite his dismal performances, will not be a hot commodity on the transfer market even given his age. He celebrated his 31st birthday in January and the idea of a return to his former form seems rather utopian.
