Harry Maguire faces criticism after celebrating goal that insulted his opponents

England star Harry Maguire scored a goal against Albania in a national team match and decided to celebrate by attacking his opponents. They took it with great distaste and the English defender was once again the target of criticism.

England defeated Albania 5-0 in a World Cup qualifier. All the goals were scored in the first half. In addition to the Manchester United defender, Jordan Henderson scored a hat-trick and Harry Kane scored a hat-trick.

Harry Maguire celebrated his goal by sliding down his knees while holding his fingers to his ears. This gesture was to appease all those who criticise his performance at Manchester United.

“I wasn’t aiming that gesture at anyone. I am the captain of Manchester United, so I am naturally criticised when the team is not doing well. I expect it,” Maguire said after the game to explain the situation.

” He thinks scoring a goal will silence the critics, embarrassing. He is a disgrace to Manchester United.”

Despite the England national team beating Albania 5-0, Harry Maguire has once again drawn a wave of criticism. It was again his own mistake that earned him the criticism. Yet the defender did not play a bad game.

England’s last qualifying match is against San Marino. England’s qualification for the World Cup is assured.
