Harry Kane’s future has been a big question mark for some time. The next transfer saga of this summer could now gain momentum after several sources have come forward with the information that the English marksman will not sign a new contract at the club.

There is a buzz around Harry Kane almost every transfer window. Among the early suitors this year was Real Madrid, who have been monitoring the situation surrounding Kane, especially shortly after Karim Benzema decided to leave the club.

As it seems, the only really serious bidder now is Bayern Munich, who will continue to hope that they can bring the transfer to a successful conclusion.

The situation surrounding Harry Kane is all the more interesting as his current contract expires next year and the Roosters are currently at risk of losing him for free.

Bayern Munich have made two official bids so far. The first one, which was in the amount of 70 million euros + possible bonuses, was immediately swept off the table. The improved second offer has not met with success either. It was increased by a fixed ten million euros.

It was clear that until the striker himself spoke into the situation and made a statement about his future, the offers were likely to be rejected as the club chairman seemed determined to do whatever it took to keep him.

Multiple sources have come forward with information that Kane will not accept any offer now and thus will not extend his contract with the club.

Harry Kane deal? I can’t be calm. No one involved wants it to take too long. I don’t think it’s good for anyone,” new Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou told football.london.

But I don’t want to give any deadline. That would add to the tension,” he added. Kane is said to not be pushing to leave the club but will carefully consider all options. Whether that is leaving for Bayern if the two clubs reach an agreement, or signing a new contract during the course of the season.

The club’s management have offered the striker the opportunity to discuss options together regarding a new and much improved contract. However, Kane himself wants to wait to see how the summer transfer window unfolds for both the club and himself.
