Hamsik’s goal was named the most beautiful of 2021! Check out his goal
Even such a short engagement as Marek Hamšík’s in Gothenburg will be remembered fondly. His goal against IK Sirius was the first and last one, but it was still enough to be voted the best goal of 2021.
Even such a short engagement as Marek Hamšík’s in Gothenburg will be remembered fondly. His goal against IK Sirius was the first and last one, but it was still enough to be voted the best goal of 2021.
Hamšík arrived in Gothenburg in March this year, but only managed to play six games for the Swedish team.
He made his first appearance on 19 April in a home game against AIK. Hamšík and co. dominated the match and won 2:0. However, the Slovakian international did not start until the last 16 minutes.
However, a much bigger chunk of time on the pitch awaited him in the following matches. In any case, he failed to score any goals. At least not in the first five games. It wasn’t until his sixth and final game against IK Sirius that he scored.
He scored in the 52nd minute. Moreover, it was the goal that put the home team 2:1 up. However, Christian Kouakou equalised for the visitors thirteen minutes later, which also set the final result of the match – 2: 2.
However, the fans’ reactions on social media were not very positive. According to many comments, there have been some more beautiful goals in the Swedish league.
However, the native of Banská Bystrica did not stay in Allsvenskan for long. Later, he heard the offer of Trabzonspor and finally moved to the Turkish club on the first of July.
So far, he has played in 17 games there, scoring two goals and assisting in four others.
