Slavia Prague is fighting with Feyenoord to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League. In the first half of the opening match the score was 1:1, but after the whistle blew, the coaches of both teamsjoined in.

Slavia travelled to the Netherlands for the first match of the Conference Europa League quarter-finals, where they challenged Feyenoord Rotterdam. The latter had beaten them at home in the autumn, so a tough match was expected.

It was. Feyenoord were the better team in the first half, they even took the lead and could have increased it, but Slavia managed to equalise from Peter Olayinka’s kick.

However, this goal should not have stood as Yira Sor was offside and prevented the defender from kicking the ball away. From then on, however, the home side’s nerves escalated.

Feyenoord players claimed a penalty after an alleged handball and then a foul, but the referee did not correctly whistle the penalty kick. With the score at 1-1, it was off to the booths, but before that, it was a scramble.

Assistant coach Marino Pusic presumably went to sort out the situation with the referee, and was subsequently joined by Olayinka, who began to shove him.

Subsequently, others joined in, including goalkeeper Ofir Marciano, with whom the Slavic winger also argued for some time. Subsequently, one of the management team caught the Nigerian under the throat in the scuffle and this did not go down well with members of the Slavia management team.

They jumped between them and Jindřich Trpišovský took aside Pusic, where everything started. The referee then went on to hand out penalties, Olayinka was first shown a red card, the referee then corrected to a yellow.

The home goalkeeper got the same. A member of Feyenoord’s implementation team, who caught the Slav player under the neck, received a red card.
